Core Function

IFC PS compliance oversight for Chemaf and Panguna; DFC and IFC lender interface; international ESG standards management

Key Responsibilities

Lead IFC PS compliance activities between LMEL corporate and Chemaf S.A. (Lubumbashi) and the Panguna site team; own and maintain the Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) for DFC and IFC lender requirements; lead annual IFC monitoring report preparation; manage the DFC lender E&S; consultant interface; track emerging international ESG standards (EU CSRD, OECD due diligence, LME responsible sourcing); manage cobalt and critical minerals responsible sourcing obligations; coordinate with Chemaf's VP-ESG & SHREQ function and the Panguna site ESG team for group-level consistency; draw on the Governance & Risk function for ESG risk register and ESMS alignment support

Language

French proficiency strongly preferred for DRC interface. Can be deputed to sit in DRC or Bougainville on requirement basis
