- Handle end-to-end legal recovery proceedings for NPA accounts.
- Draft, review, and issue legal notices, demand notices, recall notices, possession notices, and settlement agreements.
- Manage legal actions under the SARFAESI Act, DRT proceedings, Arbitration, Civil Courts, Criminal Complaints, and Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC), wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with empanelled advocates, recovery agencies, and local authorities for effective case management.
- Monitor court cases and ensure timely filing of pleadings, affidavits, replies, and appeals.
- Prepare legal opinions on recovery strategies and high-value delinquent accounts.
- Support One-Time Settlement (OTS) negotiations and legal documentation for settlements.
- Liaise with police authorities, revenue officials,



court commissioners, and enforcement agencies for execution of recovery actions.
- Conduct legal due diligence of loan documents and identify legal gaps affecting recovery.
- Maintain MIS and legal trackers for pending cases, recovery status, and litigation updates.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, internal legal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide legal advisory to Collections, Credit, Operations, and Business teams on recovery-related matters.
- Minimize legal exposure by recommending proactive recovery and resolution strategies.
