One of our prestigious clients, is expanding its procurement team and looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sr. Executive Purchase with experience in the Electrical Manufacturing Industry.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end procurement activities, vendor coordination, sourcing, purchase planning, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production and project requirements.

Candidates with experience in Electrical Panels, LED Lighting, Electrical Components, Switchgear, Cables, SMPS, LED Drivers, and related electrical materials will be preferred.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement for Electrical Projects, Electrical Panels & LED Lighting materials
- Source vendors and obtain competitive quotations
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs)
- Coordinate with production, stores, accounts, and project teams for material planning
- Develop strong vendor and supplier relationships
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays
- Prepare cost comparison statements and procurement reports
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment
- Follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries and issue resolution
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines




- Coordinate invoice verification and payment follow-ups with accounts team
- Support cost-saving and strategic sourcing initiatives

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of procurement and purchase processes
- Experience in Electrical Industry / LED Lighting / Electrical Panel Manufacturing preferred
- Good understanding of electrical components and materials
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and purchase documentation
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and urgent procurement requirements
- Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure

Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field
- Additional certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage
- Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in procurement for electrical manufacturing companies
- Knowledge of LED Drivers, SMPS, Switchgear, Cables, Panel Components, and Electrical Accessories
- Immediate joiners or candidates with shorter notice periods preferred
