Role & responsibilities

- Optimize web applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability
- Conduct performance audits and identify areas for improvement across the entire stack
- Implement performance optimizations, including code refactoring, caching strategies, and database optimizations
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to streamline application architecture and codebase
- Utilize profiling tools and performance monitoring techniques to identify and address bottlenecks
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in web application optimization

Qualifications:

- Previous Experience in working within E-Commerce or FinTech
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached)
- Familiarity with browser rendering optimizations




- Understanding of CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) and edge caching
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization strategies
- Knowledge of security best practices in web development

Experience Required:

8+ years of experience in web development with a focus on customer delight through scalable and robust systems.

Functional / Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Next.js/React.js, and Node.js
- Microservices with Pub/Sub architecture
- Robust knowledge of relational database (MSSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firestore)
- Familiarity with front-end optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting)
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools
