Job Opening: Java Backend Developer

Experience: 5-8 years

About the role:

You will be responsible for building world-class technology products and platforms that are at the forefront of the technology revolution in the Indian payments ecosystem. You are someone who insists on the highest standards for quality, maintainability, and performance.

Roles and Responsibility:

- Design and develop high performance, scalable, robust and reliable applications using java & Spring
- Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team
- Write automated unit and integration tests as appropriate to support continuous integration pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams that include developers, QA, product owners, TPMs to implement the extensible and scalable solution
- Evaluating third parties APIs and capabilities to integrate with product




- Creation and maintenance of proper documentation for Design, Architecture, API specs, interfaces etc.
- Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, etc.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and other modern java stack technologies
- Relational databases like Oracle/PostgreSQL/MYSQL and any NoSQL database
- Must have experience with REST and XML/JSON/Protobuf
- Strong technical knowledge on various streaming frameworks like Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Storm and caching solutions like Memcache/Redis etc
- Industry API tooling such as Postman, Castlemock, Apigee, Swagger etc
- Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, version control and configuration systems like GITLAB, Jenkins, code quality tools like SonarQube, Fortify, Veracode etc
- Application security standards like OWASP
- Git (Gitlab / Github)
- Robust analytical skills, with high problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Keep up the pace with the latest technology and developments in the industry

Education Background: B.Tech/M.Tech, B.E./M.E. ( preferably in computer science )

Good To Have:

- Knowledge in the Payments domain
- Cloud-Native Design & Containerisation (Docker)
- Knowledge of AWS (Or any other Cloud Platform)
