First Ray Insurance Brokers is an IRDAI-registered direct insurance broker offering solutions across life, general, and health insurance verticals. We work with leading insurers and are growing our sales team to serve both corporate and individual clients.

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Insurance Sales Executive to grow our client base across B2B (corporate/SME) and retail segments. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and needs assessment to policy placement and renewal — while working closely with our operations and insurer teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and acquire new clients across corporate, SME, and retail segments

- Understand client risk profiles and recommend suitable insurance solutions across life, health, and general insurance

- Generate leads through referrals, networking, cold outreach, and digital channels

- Prepare and present proposals; negotiate terms with insurers on behalf of clients

- Manage renewals and maintain strong relationships with existing clients





- Coordinate with internal operations teams for smooth policy issuance and servicing

- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently

Job Requirements

- 2–7 years of experience in insurance sales (broker / insurer / bancassurance / agency)

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

- Ability to sell across both corporate accounts and individual/retail clients

- Valuable understanding of general, health, or life insurance products

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial approach to business development

- IRDAI-licensed (preferred but not mandatory — we will support licensing)

- Existing book of clients or corporate relationships

- Experience with multiple lines (motor, health, fire, liability, life)

- Familiarity with insurance broking workflows and insurer coordination
