Role & responsibilities -

- Oversee procurement of raw materials and packaging for large-scale food production.
- Coordinate with vendors and production teams to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.
- Utilize Excel tools like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP for inventory and reporting efficiency
- Controlling the purchase and supply of all procured items & services.
- Negotiating price and terms of products with suppliers.
- Managing, developing & improving the purchasing team
- Establishing terms, pricing, quality requirements, delivery, and contracts
- Preparing & processing requisitions, purchase orders & invoices for purchases.
- Raise enquiries from existing and prospective suppliers for provision of quotes. RFQ.




- Prepare comparative statements based on the quotes for approval of Purchase Committee
- Analyze vendor quotes and select products from suppliers based on price and quality
- Giving sourcing input to colleagues to aid business planning & development.
- Making recommendations & advising senior management on all purchasing issues.
- Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, and goods ordered and received.
- Managing vendor relationships and building effective supply chain partnerships
