Role & Responsibilities

1. Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings, site measurements, and project specifications.
2. Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates.
3. Estimate material, labour, and other project-related costs.
4. Review technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements for accurate estimation.
5. Coordinate with the Design, Projects, Procurement, Production, and Accounts teams for costing-related inputs.
6. Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and suppliers.
7. Prepare project budgets, cost comparisons, and rate analyses.
8. Maintain updated material rates, vendor quotations, and costing databases.
9. Assist in cost control by monitoring estimated costs against actual project costs.
10. Attend site visits and client meetings whenever required to understand project scope and costing requirements.
11. Ensure timely submission of estimates while maintaining accuracy and profitability.
12. Prepare and maintain costing documentation and commercial records.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering,



Interior Design, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in costing, estimation, BOQ preparation, or quantity surveying, preferably in interior fit-outs/ furniture manufacturing/ construction, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of materials, production/execution processes, and costing principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as in a team.
