Role Overview:
As an Associate, Lead Project Manager, you are responsible for driving the connected CIO Stakeholder agenda, bringing the best capabilities for improving stakeholder experience and building and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships. We are looking for someone with strong work ethic to join a dynamic and fast-growing team of Business Managers, and who will play a key role in delivering firm wide critical projects, setup governance structure for the division and provide senior management updates on key initiatives and working group outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Create value for the organization by leading complex projects independently, driving regulatory and strategic change initiatives
- Developing and enhancing relationships with our key stakeholders, understand the business and navigate within the organization to drive programs effectively.
- Bringing diverse and thought-provoking perspectives and point of view to explore solutions working for the stakeholders.
- Ensure standardization in the project/change management practices adopted and align them to the organization goals.
- Host SteerCo and drive discussions/decisions working with the project leader/supervisor.
- Work with other division like Finance, Risk, Technology, Operations to identify and maximize opportunities that help in delivery of projects and to improve product, service and program business processes.
- Prepare project reports (weekly project update, monthly status update / newsletter, highlighting risks, resource utilization, analyse trends, recommends adjustments that address or capitalize on these changes).
For CIO Business Management Governance Model:
- Establishing multiple governance forums with representation from all key / relevant groups.
- Outlining the scope and objectives of each committee for short and medium term in line with Sponsor(s) expectations.
- Establish channels for inward / outward flow of communication from CIO BM Support Groups (Finance, HR, Sourcing) to BM Community and vice versa.
- Identify key initiatives / programs and critical deliverables which needs focus from BM Mgmt. / Support Groups. Prioritize such items in relevant forums / committee for driving decisions and timely actions.
- Institutionalize monthly communication to BM Community including summary of key relevant updates, status of key initiatives programs, heads up on upcoming key events / org changes, insights on talent development opportunities, BM Shared Services updates, updates on BM resources such as process documentation / guidelines / policies / tools, Innovation ideas /, etc.
For Budget PMO:
- Manage Budget Plan updates on Confluence and Teams channel
- Maintain Action Tracker and RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies) on confluence, Follow up / Escalations and status update on deliverables on Confluence
- Setup Budget Forums (Scope, Agenda, Focus Areas, Takeaways, Actions) with multiple CIO Div BM Groups and support partners such as CMA, HR, PE controllers
- Manage/update Budget Process documentation and RACI on confluence
- Work on Budget communication/presentation when required
- Summarize key lessons learned ongoing Budget Process Feedback
- Act as first point of contact for any budget related queries from IT BMs, Finance and other corporate divisions,
and resolve / re-direct as appropriate

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in consulting or handling change programs within investment banking.
- Expect sound understanding of business management domain. CA / CFA/ FRM certification will be preferred.
- Excellent project and programme management skills including experience in large cross functional and/or cross geographical programmes.
- Experience in managing full E2E project delivery, which require coordination across multiple corporate functions and Technology partners
- Ability to operate in both agile and waterfall style project methodologies and have an understanding of deliverables required for each methodology.
- Creative problem-solving ability, inquisitive mind-set, comfortable with working on ambiguous situations. Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
