Inventory & Stock Control

- Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of all materials.
- Track inventories (e.g., chemical, components, etc.) and consumables (e.g., cutting tools, gases, safety gear).
- Implement inventory management principles like FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) to prevent material degradation.
- Conduct regular physical stock verifications, cycle counts, and reconciliations to eliminate shrinkage.

Supply Chain Coordination

- Liaise daily with the commercial team to understand material requirements based on schedules.
- Generate purchase requisitions timely to avoid shortfall of the materials.
- Manage records of materials sent out for external job work or outsourced job work.

Operations & Space Optimization

- Optimize the store floor layout to maximize space utilization and ensure easy retrieval of heavy items.
- Oversee material handling equipment maintenance (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Maintain strict housekeeping standards (5S methodologies)



to ensure a clean and organized work setting.

Documentation & Digital System Management

- Ensure real-time and accurate data entry of all inward and outward material movements in ERP software (Oracle, or Tally).
- Verify supplier invoices, delivery challans, and goods receipt notes (GRN) against purchase orders.
- Generate regular inventory status, consumption patterns, and dead-stock reports for plant management.

Safety, Compliance & Team Leadership

- Enforce safety protocols, material hazard guidelines (MSDS), and strict security measures within the Stores.
- Adhere to quality standards such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).
- Supervise, train, and manage store executives, keepers, and helpers.
- Scrap management, identifying the dead stock within the stores and taking approvals for its disposal.
