We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Officer to join our team on an Oil Tanker, with a minimum of 6 months of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil tanker operations and be able to work effectively in a quick-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

- Manage and maintain the safety and security of the vessel and its cargo.

- Coordinate with other officers and crew members to ensure smooth operation.

- Monitor and report any defects or issues with the vessel's hull, superstructure, or equipment.

- Participate in drills and training exercises to maintain emergency preparedness.

- Maintain accurate records and logs of vessel operations and maintenance activities.

- Collaborate with the captain and other senior officers to make informed decisions about vessel operations.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 6 months of experience as a 2nd Officer on an oil tanker or similar vessel.





- Strong knowledge of oil tanker operations, safety protocols, and regulations.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse group.

- Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment with a focus on attention to detail.

- Familiarity with navigation and watchkeeping procedures, including chart reading and plotting.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
