The EPC/OEM Account Manager is responsible for leading NICPLs project sales pursuits in the forementioned market segments.
1) Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key EPC and OEM clients.
- Understand customer needs and align solutions to meet their
requirements.
- Manage existing accounts, proactively identify opportunities, and drive business growth.
- Cognizance of EPCs & OEMs funnel & their MUST Wins.
- Attain Supplier of First Choice status.
- Conduct technical workshops / technology days.
2) Sales and Business Development:
- Generate recent leads and convert them into successful deals.
- Achieve targeted sales and revenue goals.
- Participate in tenders and bidding processes for projects.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share.
- Establish Frame Agreements /Umbrella Contracts / Annual Rate
Contracts.
3) Commercial Negotiations:
- Negotiate contracts and terms with EPC and OEM clients.
- Ensure commercial aspects of projects are aligned with company
objectives.
4) Project Management :
- May involve in project execution, and monitoring of strategic orders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
5) Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular updates to management on project status, revenue, and costs.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape.
6) Teamwork and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
7) Other details
- Leadership responsibilities for all internal and external project pursuit coordination.
- Effective utilization of SAP-CRM app tool for monitoring & report generation of all sales leads & periodic reporting into NICPL management.
- The EPC_OEM Account Manager will act as the focal point for the development of relationships with defined EPCs and OEMs and engineering contractors involved.
- Provide qualitative intel on competition & competitors activities.
8) Skillset required:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Knowledge of EPC processes and industry trends.
- Strong knowledge of industrial process controls solutions including field instrumentation, SAPCVS, PSVs, PRS, Blending Skids.
- Strong knowledge of project execution fundamentals.
- Will possess strong knowledge of professional selling techniques for large capital projects.
- Candidate must possess reasonable knowledge of process industries. This knowledge should include basic process, fundamentals and operations requirements.
