Job Summary

SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) Consultant with robust expertise in SAP Planning solutions and UDF (Unified Demand Forecasting). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP CAR modules, demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and retail business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and support SAP CAR solutions, including:
- Unified Demand Forecast (UDF)
- Demand Data Foundation (DDF)
- Inventory Visibility (IV)
- Omnichannel Article Availability and Sourcing (OAA)
- POS Data Inbound Processing (POSDTA)

- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP CAR solutions.
- Configure and optimize forecasting models within SAP CAR UDF.
- Integrate SAP CAR with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP IS-Retail, and third-party systems.
- Support demand planning, replenishment planning, and inventory optimization processes.
- Perform system testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on enhancements.




- Conduct end-user training and create documentation.
- Participate in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
- Required Skills

- 6+ years of SAP experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SAP CAR UDF (Unified Demand Forecasting)
- SAP CAR DDF
- SAP Retail/IS-Retail processes
- Forecasting and replenishment concepts

- Experience with SAP HANA and SAP Fiori.
- Knowledge of POS data processing and retail analytics.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain planning.
- Experience in integration using IDocs, OData services, APIs, and SLT replication.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and provide scalable solutions.
- Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
- Knowledge of SAP AFS/Fashion, Retail, or Consumer Products industries.
- SAP CAR certification is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
