Head EDP (Electronic Data Processing)

Department: Information Technology / EDP
Location: Mumbai (Corporate Office)
Reporting To: Director / COO / CEO

Position Summary

The Head – EDP will lead the organization's complete technology ecosystem, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available IT operations across ERP, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Cloud, Databases, Business Intelligence, Automation, and Digital Transformation initiatives. The role is responsible for driving technology strategy while ensuring uninterrupted business operations across all branches and client locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Strategy & Leadership

- Define and execute the organization's IT roadmap.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across all departments.
- Align technology investments with business objectives.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies including AI and automation.
- Build and mentor a high-performing EDP team.

2. ERP & Business Applications

- Own the complete ERP ecosystem.
- Manage ERP development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth functioning of Payroll, HRMS, Billing, Attendance, Inventory, Finance, Compliance, and Client modules.
- Define ERP enhancement roadmap.
- Coordinate with Operations, HR, Finance, and Management.

3. Database Administration

- Manage Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other enterprise databases.
- Ensure database security, performance tuning, indexing, backup, replication, and disaster recovery.
- Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Monitor database health and availability.

4. Infrastructure Management

- Manage Windows/Linux Servers.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Monitor server performance and capacity planning.
- Ensure high availability of critical services.

5. Cloud & Storage

- Manage AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Hetzner infrastructure.
- Manage cloud storage and object storage.
- Plan hybrid cloud architecture.
- Optimize cloud costs.

6. Network Administration

- WAN/LAN management.
- VPN management.
- Firewall administration.
- Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi.
- Network performance monitoring.

7. Cyber Security

- Endpoint security.
- Antivirus & EDR.

- IIS Administration.

- Application Pool optimization.
