Reporting To: GST Lead

Job Purpose

To ensure accurate and timely GST compliance across the organization by managing return filings, reconciliations, audits, assessments, and tax advisory support while ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, and other applicable returns.
- Perform GST reconciliations between books, GST portal, GSTR-2B, e-invoices, and e-way bills; ensure accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims.
- Handle GST notices, departmental assessments, audits, and prepare responses in coordination with internal teams and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with e-invoicing, e-way bill provisions, and other indirect tax regulations.
- Provide GST support to procurement, sales, supply chain, and finance teams on day-to-day business transactions.




- Liaise with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities for GST-related matters.
- Monitor changes in GST laws and assess their impact on business operations.
- Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support automation of GST compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

- CA / MBA (Finance) / M. Com
- Senior Executive: 5 to 7 years of relevant GST experience.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing industry is preferred.

Key Skills

- Robust knowledge of GST laws, compliance, and indirect taxation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (preferred) or other ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GST reconciliations.
- Experience in audits, assessments, and tax litigation support.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a high level of accuracy and compliance orientation.
