Role Purpose

The Digital Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to identify, evaluate, document, implement and continuously improve digital solutions across business application landscape. The role will support transformation initiatives across ERP, DMS, OMS, CRM, workflow automation, reporting and analytics platforms, ensuring solutions are business-aligned, scalable, well-adopted and measurable in terms of value realization.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

- Partner with business users to understand pain points, opportunities and digital transformation requirements.
- Conduct requirement workshops, process walkthroughs and discovery sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, functional specifications, use cases and process flows.
- Translate business expectations into clear functional requirements for IT, vendors and implementation partners.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews and requirement sign-offs.

Application Portfolio Management

- Support functional ownership, enhancements and adoption of ERP, DMS, OMS, CRM, workflow automation, reporting and analytics solutions.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Support release management, change requests, testing, deployment readiness and business communication.
- Ensure smooth integration and data flow across core business systems wherever applicable.

Digital Transformation & Project Delivery





- Support end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement and Customer Service.
- Participate in solution evaluation, fit-gap assessment, vendor discussions and implementation planning.
- Track milestones, risks, dependencies, issues and business readiness activities.
- Coordinate UAT planning, user testing, defect tracking, sign-offs and hypercare support.

Data, Reporting & Analytics Enablement

- Work with business teams to define KPIs, reporting requirements and dashboard expectations.
- Support self-service analytics, BI reporting and data-driven decision-making initiatives.
- Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to validate business logic, data quality and reporting outputs.
- Assist in defining data standards, reconciliation checks, governance expectations and business rules.

Process Digitization, Automation & Adoption

- Identify opportunities for process simplification, workflow automation, RPA and AI-led business transformation.
- Prepare business cases, effort-benefit views and impact assessments for digital initiatives.
- Conduct trainings, demos, SOP walkthroughs and knowledge transfer sessions for business users.




- Track adoption, usage, business perks and continuous improvement opportunities post go-live.

Experience

- 3-7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Applications, IT Consulting, Product Implementation or Application Management.
- Experience working with cross-functional business teams and implementation partners.
- Preferred exposure to FMCG, Consumer Goods, Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing or Digital Commerce environments.

Preferred Domain Knowledge

- Order management and digital commerce operations.
- Finance and accounting process understanding in SAP / Tally context.
- CRM and customer engagement processes.
- Analytics, KPI reporting, data governance and self-service analytics adoption.
- Workflow automation, RPA and AI/GenAI-enabled process improvement opportunities.
