Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer responsible for managing & supporting application infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, NGINX configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployments. The candidate should have hands-on experience in creating and managing Kubernetes clusters, configuring NGINX, troubleshooting production issues, and working with Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

*Design, create, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in on-premises or cloud environments.

*Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications running on Kubernetes

*Work with Kubernetes resources such as:

-Pods

-Deployments

-Services

-ConfigMaps

-Secrets

-Ingress

-Persistent Volumes

- Configure and manage NGINX as a web server and reverse proxy.

- Configure NGINX routing, SSL/TLS certificates, load balancing, & reverse proxy rules.

-Troubleshoot NGINX and application connectivity issues.

-Manage and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

-Create and maintain Azure DevOps build and release pipelines.

-Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, & deployment workflows.

-Automate application deployments across Development, Pre-Production, and Production environments.

-Monitor application and infrastructure health and troubleshoot performance and availability issues.

-Analyze application, Kubernetes, NGINX, and system logs to identify and resolve incidents.

-Support production deployments, release validation, and rollback activities.

-Work with development and application support teams to resolve deployment and infrastructure issues.

-Implement automation and scripting to reduce manual operational activities.

-Maintain deployment documentation, infrastructure configuration, and operational runbooks.

-Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive action implementation.

Required Technical Skills:

Kubernetes-

-Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.





-Experience in creating and configuring Kubernetes clusters.

-Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and components.

-Hands-on experience with deployments, services, ingress, Config-Maps, Secrets, and persistent storage.

-Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes pods, deployments, networking, and resource issues.

NGINX-

-Strong knowledge of NGINX configuration and administration.

-Experience configuring reverse proxy and URL routing.

-Knowledge of SSL/TLS configuration.

-Experience with load balancing and upstream configuration.

-Ability to troubleshoot NGINX access and error logs.

Azure DevOps-

-Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.

-Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.

-Knowledge of Azure Repos and Git.

-Experience with YAML-based pipelines is preferred.

-Understanding of build, release, artifact, and deployment processes.

Additional Skills:

-Linux administration and troubleshooting.

-Git and version control.

-Shell scripting / PowerShell scripting.

-Docker and containerization.

-Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is preferred.

-Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or ELK is an advantage.

Experience:

-24 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering.

-Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes cluster creation and administration is mandatory.

-Experience supporting production applications and resolving critical infrastructure issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

-Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

-Comfortable working in a production support environment.

-Good understanding of application deployment and infrastructure architecture.

-Ability to work independently and collaborate with development, application support, andinfrastructure teams.

-Willingness to participate in production support and incident resolution activities.
