Role Overview

We are looking for an AI-Enabled Mobile Application Engineer with strong expertise in Ionic and Angular to design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile applications using an AI-native development workflow.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building cross-platform mobile apps (Android & iOS) using the Ionic framework, integrating them with enterprise-grade backend systems, and leveraging AI coding assistants and agentic tooling to accelerate delivery while upholding quality and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic Framework and Angular
- Develop reusable UI components and ensure responsive mobile-first design
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend microservices
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Implement offline data synchronization and caching mechanisms
- Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA, and DevOps teams
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Publish and manage applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- Drive an AI-native mobile SDLC: use AI to author clear, unambiguous specifications and acceptance criteria for features, then translate them into production Ionic/Angular code and automated tests.
- Practice spec-driven development partner with product and design to produce AI-assisted specs that serve as the single source of truth for build, test, and release.
- Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot,



Claude, Cursor) to accelerate delivery while upholding code quality, security, and peer-review standards.
- Generate and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, and end-to-end/BDD) derived directly from acceptance criteria to enable fast, confident, low-defect mobile releases.

Required Technical Skills

- 7+ years of experience in mobile or frontend application development
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Ionic Framework (latest versions preferred)
- Angular (13+ versions)
- TypeScript
- HTML5 / CSS3 / SCSS
- Experience with Capacitor or Cordova
- Strong knowledge of REST API integration
- Experience with state management and routing in Angular
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) in day-to-day mobile development.
- Experience translating requirements and acceptance criteria into automated tests using TDD/BDD practices.

Valuable to Have

- Experience with Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging/APNs)
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices
- Experience in performance tuning and debugging mobile applications
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployment
- Experience in enterprise SaaS or logistics domain applications
- Experience with an AI-native, spec-driven SDLC where specifications and acceptance criteria are AI-generated and drive automated testing and rapid delivery.
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin) and AI-assisted test generation for mobile apps.
- Exposure to prompt engineering and AI-agent workflows applied to mobile software delivery.
- Interest in building AI-powered mobile features (on-device/cloud LLMs, intelligent assistants, or automation).
