A leading global organization in the maritime / asset-heavy operations space is hiring a Head of HR India to lead and scale its people agenda.

This is a high-impact leadership role, partnering closely with India business leadership and the Global HR Director (overseas), in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Role Overview:

You will lead the end-to-end HR function for India, acting as a strategic advisor to leadership while aligning local execution with global people strategy. The role demands strong business partnering, execution depth, and change leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic HR partnering with senior leadership

- Workforce planning, org design, and capability building

- Talent acquisition, succession planning, L&D;, and performance management

- Leading change and transformation initiatives





- Handling complex employee relations and labour law compliance

- Designing HR policies aligned with global and local standards

- Using HR analytics to drive insights and decisions

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 15-20 years of progressive HR experience in senior HRBP / Head HR roles

- Full-time MBA from a Tier 1 institute

- Experience in complex, global organizations (asset-heavy / regulated industries preferred)

- Robust knowledge of Indian labour laws with global HR exposure

- Proven experience in scaling HR frameworks and functions

- Commercially astute, data-driven, and hands-on leader
