- Conduct OPD consultations for gynecological and obstetric patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecological disorders.
- Manage antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies efficiently.
- Counsel patients on reproductive health, infertility, contraception, menstrual disorders, menopause, and preventive healthcare.
- Interpret laboratory investigations, ultrasound reports, and diagnostic findings.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with pediatricians, anesthetists, radiologists, physicians, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings. These responsibilities reflect common expectations for consultant gynecologists in hospitals and specialty centers.
