Oracle HCM Cloud SME / Advisory Consultant (Contract 6 Months)

Location: Mumbai (Onsite) Contract Duration: 6 Months Experience: 9+ Years Notice Period: Immediate to Short Notice Preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle HCM Cloud SME / Advisory Consultant to act as a strategic bridge between the customer and the current implementation partner during an ongoing Oracle HCM Cloud implementation engagement.

The ideal candidate should possess strong end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud functional expertise across multiple modules and be capable of driving best practices, validating implementation approaches, identifying gaps, mitigating delays, and ensuring alignment between business expectations and implementation delivery.

This role requires a senior consultant who can independently engage with customer stakeholders, review solution design decisions, challenge implementation recommendations where require

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a bridge between customer stakeholders and the implementation partner
- Review ongoing Oracle HCM Cloud implementation activities and provide strategic guidance
- Validate solution approaches, configurations, and implementation recommendations
- Advise on Oracle HCM Cloud best practices and standard capabilities
- Identify implementation gaps, risks, delays, and process misalignment
- Ensure customer requirements are correctly understood and translated into solutions
- Participate in design workshops, status reviews, and steering discussions
- Provide independent assessment on feasibility, timelines, and solution alignment
- Support issue resolution and recommend optimized approaches within Oracle Cloud framework




- Drive governance and ensure implementation quality standards are maintained
- Collaborate with business, HR, IT, and project teams for smooth execution

Required Skills & Experience

- 9+ years of overall experience in Oracle HCM implementations and consulting
- Strong hands-on and advisory experience in Oracle HCM Cloud
- Exposure to multiple Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including but not limited to:
- Core HR
- Absence Management
- Talent Management
- Recruitment / ORC
- Learning
- Compensation & Benefits
- Payroll
- Performance Management
- OTL / Workforce Management
- Security & Approvals
- Strong understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud best practices and standard product capabilities
- Experience managing customer escalations and implementation governance
- Ability to independently review solution architecture and implementation approach
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working in large enterprise Oracle Cloud transformation programs preferred

Preferred Qualifications

- Oracle HCM Cloud certifications preferred
- Prior experience in advisory/governance roles is an added advantage
- Experience working with implementation partners and customer-side consulting engagements
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive decision-making
