ROLE SUMMARY

A hybrid mandate combining Chief of Staff, Strategy Associate, Executive Business Partner, and Special Projects Lead built for an individual who will function as the Chairman's direct strategic partner.

The mandate: drive strategic initiatives, solve complex business problems, accelerate leadership decision-making, prepare the Chairman for every high-stakes interaction, and ensure flawless execution across the organisation. This role is designed for a future business leader and is structured as upward moving role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Chairman's Office Ownership

- Own the daily functioning of the Chairman's Office end-to-end
- Act as the single point of coordination for all strategic initiatives
- Drive follow-ups to completion nothing is closed until it is verifiably closed
- Maintain absolute confidentiality across all matters
- Anticipate requirements before they are articulated

2. Strategic Planning

Support strategic initiatives spanning market analysis, industry benchmarking, competitor intelligence, business research, growth and M&A; opportunity evaluation, new business assessment, long-term planning, and corporate strategy. Every recommendation must be structured and data-backed.

3. Financial & Commercial Analysis

Strong financial acumen is non-negotiable. Core deliverables:

- Financial analysis, budget reviews, and profitability analysis
- Business case preparation, ROI calculations, and investment evaluation
- KPI tracking, dashboard creation, and scenario modelling
- Executive reporting with fluency in financial statements and business metrics

4. Board Governance

Play an active role in Board Meetings preparing agendas, board packs, presentation material, financial summaries, governance documents, action trackers, and minutes of meeting. All Board action items must be tracked and closed within agreed timelines.

5. Chairman Preparation

Ensure the Chairman enters every meeting exceptionally prepared, with:

- Background research and stakeholder profiles




- Company and industry intelligence
- Discussion points, financial highlights, risks, and opportunities
- Negotiation pointers, suggested questions, and defined meeting objectives and outcomes

6. Executive Presentation Design

Develop world-class presentations for Board Meetings, Investors, Leadership Reviews, Business Reviews, Strategic Planning, Current Initiatives, M&A; Discussions, and Business Performance updates combining logical storytelling, executive communication, financial insight, and exceptional visual design. PowerPoint excellence is mandatory.

7. Execution Excellence

Own cross-functional coordination, timeline management, escalation handling, follow-up governance, delivery tracking, and risk management. The standard is zero drop-through.

8. AI & Productivity

Leverage AI extensively across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, NotebookLM, Power BI, Excel Automation, Workflow Automation, and Prompt Engineering to increase productivity, conduct research, generate executive summaries, improve presentations, automate repetitive work, analyse data, and improve decision-making.

10. Structured Problem Solving

Apply First Principles Thinking, MECE, Root Cause Analysis, Decision Trees, Cost-Benefit Analysis, SWOT, Porter's Framework, and Business Modelling always converging on an actionable recommendation, not a menu of options.

11. Special Projects

- Market entry studies
- M&A; due diligence
- Organisation restructuring and digital transformation
- AI adoption, cost optimisation, and business excellence initiatives
