Core Responsibilities

Production Planning (PP)

1. Configure Enterprise & PP master data : BOMs , Routings/Recipes , Work Centers/Resources , Production Versions , Control Keys .
2. Set up Demand Management & MRP (lot sizing, planning strategies, safety stock) and Capacity Planning (leveling, finite/infinite).
3. Implement Shop Floor Control : order types, release, confirmations , backflush , GI/GR , variance/WIP and order settlement.
4. Deliver Manufacturing scenarios : Discrete, Process, Repetitive (REM with rate routings / product cost collectors ).
5. Integrate with MES/LIMS or plant systems (IDoc/OData/API/PI/PO) for operations, parameters, and confirmations.

Quality Management (QM)

1. Build Inspection Planning : Inspection Plans , MICs (quant/qual), sampling schemes, task lists.
2. Execute Quality inspections : Lot creation (incoming, in process, final), Results Recording , Usage Decisions , Quality Certificates .
3. Manage Non Conformance/CAPA : Q Notifications , 8D/CAPA workflows, rework loops back to PP.
4. Enable Vendor/Customer quality : Source inspections, vendor evaluation influence, delivery related inspections.
5. Ensure Compliance & Traceability : Batch/Serial management, classification, audit trail in regulated environments.
