We are looking for experienced US Mortgage Underwriters with expertise in Non-QM and DSCR underwriting.

We are offering a Joining bonus of 50,000 and 15 days of accommodation to the candidates who can relocate.

Eligibility

- Graduate in any discipline
- Minimum 2+ years of current experience in US Non-QM Mortgage Underwriting, specifically DSCR products

Role: Non-QM DSCR Underwriter

As a Non-QM DSCR Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating residential mortgage loan applications outside standard agency guidelines, including Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) loans. You will ensure compliance with company and investor guidelines while making sound underwriting decisions to minimize risk.

Key Responsibilities

- Underwrite Non-QM and DSCR mortgage loans
- Review alternative documentation loans, including:
- Bank Statement
- Asset Depletion
- ITIN
- 1099
- Profit & Loss (P&L;) Only loans
- Analyze borrower credit, income, assets, collateral, and overall risk
- Ensure compliance with investor guidelines and regulations, including ATR/QM, TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, and HOEPA
- Perform manual underwriting and recommend exceptions where applicable




- Issue accurate underwriting decisions and review resubmitted documents
- Support post-closing audits and documentation requests
- Collaborate with Account Executives, brokers, processors, and internal teams
- Stay updated on Non-QM products, investor guidelines, and secondary market changes
- Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence

Required Skills

- Minimum 2+ years of current Non-QM mortgage underwriting experience, with strong exposure to DSCR products
- Strong knowledge of Non-QM loan programs and alternative documentation requirements
- Expertise in DSCR calculations and complex income/risk analysis
- Understanding of secondary market requirements and investor guidelines
- Experience with Desktop Underwriter (DU), Loan Product Advisor (LP), and electronic document management systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple loan files in a fast-paced workplace with exceptional attention to detail.
