Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Logistics to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Monitor material availability and proactively address shortages to avoid production delays.
- Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Track production performance against plans and implement corrective actions where required.
- Lead capacity planning, manpower planning, and machine utilization initiatives.
- Drive production efficiency through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
- Analyze production data, prepare MIS reports, and present performance metrics to management.
- Ensure adherence to production targets, delivery commitments, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams during new product introductions and production ramp-ups.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce lead time.

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- 1215 years of experience in Production Planning & Control within high-volume manufacturing environments.




- Experience in Generator Assembly, Genset Manufacturing, Packing Plants, Automotive, Auto Ancillary, Capital Equipment, or Engineering Manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, inventory control, and supply chain coordination.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
- Sound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a robust focus on operational excellence.
