Role & responsibilities

Fund Accounting & Financial Oversight

- Supervised preparation of fund financial statements, NAVs, and capital account summaries
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and fund-specific accounting policies
- Oversee calculation of management fees, carried interest, and fund expenses

Capital Transactions & Investor Reporting

- Lead execution and review of capital calls, distributions, and investor notices
- Ensure accurate investor allocations and capital activity tracking
- Maintain and review investor capital accounts and waterfall models
- Liaise with investor relations and respond to investor queries

Team Leadership & Process Management

- Manage and mentor a team of analysts and senior associates
- Delegate tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance against KPIs
- Conduct training and development sessions to enhance team capabilities
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate with auditors and fund administrators during audits
- Ensure documentation and controls meet compliance and audit standards
- Monitor risk and escalate issues proactively

Preferred candidate profile

Must Have:

- Qualified Accountant or equivalent




- Chartered Accountant with 4 + years experience in FUND ACCOUNTING OR
- MBA with 6+ years experience in Fund Accounting
- Strong understanding and working experience of accounting principles like Fund accounting NAV calculation, Analysis of Pricing variance and Profit and loss, Verifying and compute coupon on Fixed Income instrument, Booking and True up of Accruals, Performance calculations, Pricing and valuation of financial instruments.
- Previous fund administration experience
- Strong working knowledge of a broad range of asset classes: Equities, Fixed Income, Option, Future, CFD, CDS, FX Forward Candidate must have experience working with accounting tools, general ledger packages, valuation tools, and front / back-office processing systems.
- Exhibit robust interpersonal, verbal and written skills
- Strong Knowledge of MS office
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

Advantageous Skills

- Proficiency in fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, eFront, Geneva)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Basic macros)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines
