Technical Pre-Sales Architect Data Management & AI

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Technical Pre-Sales Architect with a deep understanding of Data Management, Cloud & On-Prem Architectures, and AI Technologies to join our rapid-growing team. This role is critical in driving solution strategy, client engagement, and business growth across large enterprises in industries like BFSI, Manufacturing, and Retail. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with Sales, Delivery, Product, and Partner teams (IBM, Microsoft, Informatica, Databricks etc.) to design compelling solutions, respond to large RFPs/RFIs, and ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture: Architect best-in-class solutions across Data Management (ETL, MDM, Data Lakes, Governance) and AI/ML initiatives, leveraging cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-prem ecosystems.

Client Engagement: Act as the technical point of contact for enterprise clients; run deep-dive discovery sessions, understand pain points, and craft tailored proposals.

Pre-Sales Support: Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and presentations for multimillion-dollar opportunities, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.

Partner Collaboration: Work closely with key technology partners like IBM, Microsoft, Informatica, Snowflake,



and Databricks to co-create winning solutions.

Demonstrations & POCs: Create and deliver engaging product demonstrations, prototypes, and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) that align with client use cases.

Thought Leadership: Explore bleeding technologies and stay updated with the latest in Data, AI, and Cloud technologies; guide clients on emerging trends like Data Mesh, AI Governance, and Generative AI.

Internal Enablement: Support the Sales and Delivery teams with technical workshops, bid defense sessions, and solution training programs.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: 15+ years in Data Management, Cloud, and AI solution architecture roles across leading IT/Consulting firms.Technology Mastery:

- Deep experience with Data Integration (IBM DataStage, Informatica, Azure Data Factory)
- MDM Solutions (Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere)
- Data Governance (Collibra, Azure Purview)
- Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, GCP)
- Gen cc platforms and frameworks (OpenAI, Azure AI, IBM Watson, Hugging Face)
- RFP and Proposal Management: Solid experience in end-to-end RFP response process — solutioning, scoping, effort estimation, preparing competitive battle cards, risk identification, and proposal writing.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Azure Solutions Architect, IBM Certified Solution Architect, Informatica Certifications, TOGAF (optional).
