Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a small design team comprising Junior and Senior 3D Designers, along with a Junior 2D Designer.
- Understand project requirements, define design objectives, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and direction to team members to achieve project goals efficiently.
- Act as a key decision-maker in design development and project execution.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful product development.
- Strong hands-on experience in 3D Design and 2D Drafting using Unigraphics (NX) or SolidWorks.
- Expertise in 3D Modeling, Surfacing, Drafting, and Assembly Design.
- Extensive knowledge of plastic product design and development.
- Proven experience in designing household and consumer plastic products such as: Casseroles, Tiffin Boxes, Jugs, Jars, Containers, Water Bottles, Buckets, Stools, PET Bottles,



Thermoware Products
- Basic understanding of plastic product tooling and mold design principles.
- Solid knowledge of plastic materials, their properties, applications, and selection criteria.
- Understanding of common plastic manufacturing defects and their corrective actions.
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal products, manufacturing processes, and tooling.
- Ability to create and interpret 2D engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards.
- Capability to prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Familiarity with standard measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of reverse engineering for plastic products and components.
