Job Title: SAP BTP Integration Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Integration Lead to design, develop, and manage integration solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in integration development and architecture along with hands-on experience in SAP Managed Services (AMS) environments for BTP.

This role requires ownership of end-to-end integration lifecycle across implementation and support engagements, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing integration landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Architecture & Design

- Lead the design and architecture of integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
- Define integration strategies, patterns, and best practices aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Provide technical leadership for hybrid integration scenarios (S/4HANA, ECC, cloud & third-party systems).

Development & Implementation

- Develop and deploy integration flows (iFlows) using Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Configure APIs using API Management, including security policies and lifecycle management.
- Implement event-driven integrations using SAP Event Mesh.
- Work on data transformation, mapping, and message processing.

SAP Managed Services (AMS)

- Manage and support BTP integration landscapes in production environments.
- Monitor interfaces and troubleshoot integration issues in a timely manner.
- Handle incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Perform performance optimization and ensure system stability.
- Drive continuous improvements and automation in support processes.

Project Delivery

- Lead integration workstreams across implementation and rollout projects.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather integration requirements.




- Ensure deliverables adhere to quality standards and timelines.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Governance & Compliance

- Define and enforce integration governance, naming conventions, and monitoring frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations.
- Maintain documentation for integration solutions and support knowledge base.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

- Robust experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite, including:
- Cloud Integration (CPI)
- API Management
- Event Mesh (preferred)

- Hands-on experience with integration patterns (REST, SOAP, IDoc, OData, RFC).
- Knowledge of middleware concepts and tools.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC integrations.
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform services and BTP architecture.
- Understanding of security protocols (OAuth, SAML, certificates).

Managed Services Experience

- Proven experience supporting SAP BTP landscapes in AMS / production environments.
- Strong skills in monitoring, incident handling, and performance tuning.

Project Experience

- Experience in end-to-end implementation and development projects.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and support engagements simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP certifications in SAP BTP Integration Suite or related areas.
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
- Exposure to SAP Extension Suite and other BTP services.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience Level

Typically 56+ years of SAP experience, with 4–6+ years in SAP BTP Integration
