MISSION :
We are looking for a Finance Manager who acts as a trusted advisor to the business by translating financial data into meaningful insights and partnering with stakeholders across organization to drive business performance; while ensuring compliance with regulatory, accounting and internal governance requirements.
This role is a direct report functionally to Regional CFO SEA & India; and dotted line legal reporting to Country Manager Coface India.
Role & responsibilities :
1) Lead finance and accounting for Coface India
- Fully own Coface India P&L; and Balance Sheet
- Able to provide financial insights to guide/influence decisions making, steering business performance, and ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Ensure financial compliance and integrity
2) Provide regular business update - month-end actual result and estimate vs. budget update, including update any risks & opportunities to Regional CFO and Country Manager
- Play key role in financial planning for Coface India by preparing & managing budgets, forecasts, analyzing trends, and preparing investment analysis
- Lead month-end closing and prepare analysis of actual financial results comparing with budget and prior year
- Be a sparring partner with non-finance stakeholders to understand business Risk & Opportunities and its financial implication, and escalate to right channel on timely manner
- Regular monitoring of Coface India cash to ensure sufficient liquidity for business needs
3) Ensure timely deliverable of operational tasks i.e.,
- Regulatory and statutory requirement submission
- Month-end closing
- Coordinate with auditors both internal and external
- Ensure accurate tax submissions
- Group reporting both actual and budget/forecast
- Payment approval
- Procurement
- Coordinate with Corporate secretary to fully comply on all statutory filing requirements e.g., Board meetings, Annual General Meetings, etc.
4) Be a change agent - Champion operational excellence by continuously driving process simplification & efficiency with close collaboration with Singapore Finance Team, Shared Service Center (Bangalore), and APR Finance Team
5) Be a role model Adhere to Cofaces core value Client focus; Expertise; Courage & accountability; Collaboration
6) Live ONE SEA & INDIA finance team vision support & strongly collaborate with other finance team members across SEA & India; and drive positive team engagement
Positive to have:
1. Certified Chartered Accountant
2. Excellent in Microsoft office suites (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
3. Experience using Finance ERP, Business Objects, Power BI are plus but not mandatory
Preferred candidate profile
1. Must have working in MNC
2. Min 7 yrs working in FP&A;, Financial Controlling, Finance Business Partnering
3. Should have hands on statutory audit & Tax Summation and filling
4. Budgeting, forecasting, P&L; management, financial reporting, business partnering, compliance, audits, stakeholder management
5. Preferred :From big 4
6. Good to have experience team handing experience
- Bachelors or Master’s degree – in business or finance or accounting
- Minimum 7 years of working experience in FP&A; or controlling
- Audit or financial consultancy experience from Big 4 is preferred, but not mandatory. Candidates with FP&A; or controlling experience from multi-national corporations (MNCs) are highly encouraged to apply Experience leading a team is an added advantage but not prerequisite
