Sify Infinit Spaces Limited was created as a subsidiary to house all investments into the Data Center space, specifically colocation. As on date, Sify has 12 Data Center locations spread across India and offers approximately 200MW of IT power to the market with 2 more to be ready by the end of the year. The latest iteration of our Data Centers is AI ready, liquid cooled certified for GPX ready workloads. Apart from these, Sify has also built Data Centers for multiple state governments to house and expand their digital ambitions.

About the Role : Construction Planner





Key Responsibilities:

1. Master Schedule Development & Planning

- Create and maintain comprehensive MS Project schedules for core & shell and MEP construction phases across all active sites.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and site teams to define activity sequencing, durations, and interdependencies.
- Develop project timelines with work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, and delivery checkpoints aligned with contract deliverables.

2. Project Tracking & Control

- Monitor physical progress against baseline; update weekly/monthly look-ahead schedules.
- Track critical path, float, and schedule variances using MS Project tools.
- Generate S-curves, progress charts, milestone reports, and delay analyses.

3. Cross-Functional Interface

- Work closely with construction managers, project leads, procurement, MEP, and commercial teams to align execution milestones.
- Track schedule inputs from dependencies such as design release, material deliveries, shutdown planning, and customer approvals.
- Support coordination for commissioning timelines and integrated testing planning.

4. Reporting & Review Support

- Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly dashboards for internal and leadership reviews.




- Provide inputs for billing milestones, customer reporting decks, and senior management reviews.
- Flag potential delays, execution bottlenecks, and risks for proactive resolution.

5. Risk Planning & Recovery Analysis

- Perform What-if” analysis to evaluate recovery options for delayed activities or re-sequencing requirements.
- Log and track schedule risks across projects with associated mitigation plans.
- Maintain issue logs and impact forecasts with clear communication to stakeholders.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Advanced proficiency in MS Project (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of civil and MEP activity sequencing, especially for high-rise or hyperscale data center projects.
- Knowledge of project tracking tools like Excel-based dashboards and S-curve generation.
- Ability to visualize delays, resource clashes, and drive recovery strategies.
- Excellent coordination, reporting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Background:

- Experience with data centers, industrial, or IT park projects.
- Familiarity with interfacing schedules between civil, structural, electrical, HVAC, and fire systems.

Travel Requirement:

Periodic visits to active construction sites across India for schedule validation and site coordination.
