Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with 8-12 years of expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications while ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless integration with modern technologies. The role involves application development, production support, testing, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Provide application maintenance, production support, and issue resolution.




- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production incidents.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Execute unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and support UAT.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design documents, and code changes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and developers.
- Participate in modernization initiatives involving integration of mainframe applications with contemporary platforms.
- Support data migration and validation activities during application upgrades or migrations.
