About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Engineer with 2 - 3 years of experience to join our QA team.The ideal candidate should be skilled in writing test scenarios, test cases, managing the defect life cycle, and conducting functional and UAT testing. A strong understanding of the product from a users perspective and the ability to work closely with developers and product teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios
Execute manual test cases (functional, regression, exploratory)
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies
- Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance

Requirements





- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA)
- ISTQB certification is a plus and demonstrates a robust foundation in software testing principles.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to think from the end-user’s perspective
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases
- Exposure to automation tools or an interest in transitioning to automation
