Job Description: Logistics Executive Import & Export (Raw Materials / Chemical Ingredients)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end logistics operations related to import and export of raw materials and specialty ingredients.

The candidate should have robust knowledge of international trade documentation, customs procedures, freight coordination, and regulatory compliance, along with familiarity with the ingredient/chemical raw material market.

Key Responsibilities

ImportExport Operations

- Handle end-to-end import and export shipments of raw materials and specialty ingredients.
- Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), and shipping lines.
- Manage documentation such as Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, MSDS, and other regulatory documents.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery and clearance.

Regulatory & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs regulations, and import/export policies.
- Maintain proper documentation for chemical and ingredient imports where applicable.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities when required.

Vendor & Freight Coordination





- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and transport vendors.
- Negotiate freight rates and ensure cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Monitor shipment timelines and resolve logistics issues proactively.

Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

- Coordinate with warehouse teams for inbound shipments and stock updates.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive raw materials or specialty ingredients.
- Maintain logistics records and shipment reports.

Market & Product Understanding

- Possess knowledge of raw materials and ingredient markets.
- Work closely with sales and procurement teams to plan shipment schedules and stock availability.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
- 5–6 years of experience in logistics operations with focus on raw material import/export.
- Experience working with chemical, ingredient, or specialty material companies preferred.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, transport arrangement, customs clearance, warehouse management, and international logistics.
