Role & responsibilities :

1. Manage Direct Tax compliance, reporting and filing Return requirements, Assessments

2. Co-coordinating with different teams, and group entities for the data requirement for the Direct Tax notices, collation and submission of reply.

3. Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management for the Group

4. Act as the key point of contact and support for local and regional taxation matters

5. Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax support for the Group

6. Manage external tax authorities and consultants

7. Review current and deferred tax provision

8. Provide internal tax advisory services and support on

business operation matters to the Group.

9. Advise business on business arrangements regarding relevant tax/regulatory implications and structuring opportunities

10.Regular review of activities and annual compliance thereafter to ensure that appropriate and available tax benefits are availed by the company

11.Ensuring timely and appropriate tax compliance - advance tax, withholding tax, filing of annual returns,





12.Doing analysis and preparing submissions for income tax assessments, TDS assessments, appeals and show-cause notices

13.ISDA / International agreements review / withholding tax on international transactions

14.Handling Tax litigation at all levels like CIT(A), Tribunal, High Court, Supreme Court.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5-7 years and above with a chartered accountant
- Having complete experience in all facets of direct taxes such as - tax returns - tax audit - transfer, pricing audit - assessments - appeals filing and hearings Providing tax advice to all units in
- organization.
- Should have good understating of direct tax issues for the Banking & Financial Service (BFS) sector
- Technically solid with solid knowledge and experience in taxation and regulations
- Should have sound drafting knowledge to draft the reply of Income Tax notices/E-assessment/E-Appeal independently with minimum guidance.
