Role: SAP S/4 HANA Program Lead and Automation

Role Purpose Location: Mumbai We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Program Lead to drive Greenfield implementation and end to-end business transformation for a Renewable EPC organization. The role involves leading SAP S/4HANA deployment across core modules and spearheading AI-led automation and emerging technology adoption to enhance efficiency across the EPC lifecycle. The mandate includes transforming business operations across the lifecycle from pre-bid and engineering to project delivery, asset handover, and billing to build a future ready, intelligent enterprise.

Key Responsibilities SAP S/4HANA Program Ownership • Own end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation as a business transformation program • Establish program governance, architecture principles, and delivery frameworks. • Drive alignment between business objectives and SAP capabilities. • Manage strategic partnerships with system integrators, SAP, and technology vendors

EPC Business Process Transformation • Reimagine and standardize end-to-end EPC processes, including Pre-bid, tendering, and cost estimation Engineering and project planning Procurement Project execution and site management Billing, revenue recognition, and project closure • Embed best practices and enable data-driven decision-making across the lifecycle

AI, Automation & Emerging Technology Strategy • Define and drive the organizations AI and automation strategy. • Identify high-impact use cases leveraging Predictive analytics and AI/ML models Generative AI for reporting, knowledge management and decision support Intelligent automation such as RPA and workflows automation

Lead adoption of emerging technologies, including: SAP BTP and cloud-native architectures (RISE with SAP) Advanced analytics (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI) IoT integration for project and asset monitoring •

Drive creation of an intelligent, connected EPC ecosystem.





SAP Functional Expertise • Provide deep functional leadership in Project Systems (PS) WBS, cost tracking, revenue recognition Finance (FI/CO) controlling, project accounting, reporting Procurement (MM) sourcing, vendor management Sales & Distribution (SD) order-to-cash, billing • Ensure seamless integration across modules and external systems

CXOs Collaboration & Business Alignment Work closely with the CIO to align automation initiatives with enterprise IT strategy and technology architecture. Partner with CXOs and business unit leaders to drive automation initiatives delivering measurable business outcomes. Build and mentor high-performing internal teams across SAP and automation capabilities. Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

Governance, Risk & Compliance Establish robust governance models for large transformation programs. Ensure adherence to financial, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards. Drive measurement frameworks with clear KPIs and business outcomes.

Key Skills & Competencies Technology & Emerging Skills • SAP S/4HANA and PMP/Program certifications • Exposure to RISE with SAP / Cloud transformation programs • SAP BTP ecosystem and cloud-native architectures • Knowledge of data-driven decision platforms and enterprise analytics • AI/ML and Generative AI applications in enterprise systems

Functional Expertise • Hands-on knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS), SAP Finance (FI/CO), SAP Procurement (MM) SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) • Solid integration knowledge across modules

Education • BE / BTech (Engineering or Technology) • MBA or equivalent preferred

Experience • 1214 years in SAP implementation within EPC, Infrastructure, Power, or Renewable Energy • Hands-on leadership in SAP S/4HANA programs and Proven track record of leading SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation • Strong experience in EPC industry (Renewable preferred) • End-to-end understanding of EPC business lifecycle (pre-bid to delivery and billing)
