Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize formulations for skincare, haircare, and personal care products in line with business and consumer requirements.
- Lead end-to-end product development, from concept and formulation to scale-up and commercialization.
- Conduct laboratory trials, stability studies, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Packaging Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Identify and evaluate recent ingredients, technologies, and formulation trends to drive innovation.
- Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing challenges during pilot and commercial production.
- Maintain formulation documentation, technical specifications, batch records, and development reports.
- Work closely with contract manufacturers (third-party manufacturers) to support technology transfer and production scale-up.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.




- Support cost optimization and reformulation initiatives without compromising product performance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 58 years of experience in R&D;/Formulation Development within the cosmetics, personal care, skincare, haircare, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on experience in developing emulsions, creams, lotions, serums, shampoos, conditioners, face washes, and other personal care formulations.
- Strong understanding of raw materials, surfactants, emulsifiers, preservatives, and active ingredients.
- Knowledge of formulation stability, product testing, GMP, and cosmetic regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with third-party manufacturers and product commercialization is preferred.
