Role & responsibilities :

- Design & Develop Automated Tests: Create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Python.
- Test Framework Management: Build, configure, and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, Behave).
- Integration with CI/CD: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA teams, and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Quality Advocacy: Act as a quality gatekeeper, ensuring software meets functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

Test Script Development

- Write automated test cases for functional, regression, API, and UI testing.
- Use Python libraries like unittest, pytest, selenium, requests, or playwright.

Framework Enhancement

- Maintain and improve automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
- Implement data-driven, keyword-driven, or BDD approaches.

Test Execution & Reporting

- Run automated test suites and analyze results.
- Generate detailed test reports and defect logs.

Defect Management

- Identify, log, and track defects in tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.




- Work with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

Continuous Improvement

- Optimize test coverage and execution time.
- Keep automation scripts updated with application changes.

Setting & Data Setup

- Prepare test environments and manage test data for automation runs.

Version Control & Code Review

- Use Git for source control.
- Participate in peer reviews of test scripts to ensure quality.

Cross-Platform & Cross-Browser Testing

- Ensure automation works across different OS, browsers, and devices
