Role Purpose

To lead the commercial growth and strategic development of the Biopharma Characterization portfolio across India by driving product management, market development, technical marketing, and sales enablement. The role will be responsible for building market presence, strengthening customer engagement, developing key accounts, and collaborating with global technology partners to achieve sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute product strategy and market development plans for the assigned portfolio across India.
- Drive revenue growth by achieving sales, profitability, and pipeline development targets.
- Lead demand generation initiatives through scientific workshops, seminars, webinars, and marketing campaigns.
- Provide technical and commercial support for product demonstrations, evaluations, tenders, quotations, and customer discussions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), biopharma companies, CROs/CDMOs, research institutes, and strategic accounts.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Application Specialists, and Global Principals to drive business growth and customer success.
- Develop product positioning, value propositions, competitive analysis, and scientific marketing collateral.
- Gather market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive information to support business strategy and portfolio expansion.
- Manage CRM pipeline, sales forecasting, business reporting, and opportunity tracking.
- Represent the organization at scientific conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and customer engagement programs.

- Exposure to protein characterization technologies including SPR, HDX-MS, CD Spectroscopy, and DSF.
- Experience working with global technology partners and international principals.
- Understanding of biopharmaceutical R&D;, biologics development, biosimilars, and protein characterization workflows.
- Experience conducting scientific workshops, customer training programs, and KOL engagement activities.

Education & Experience

- Essential: PhD or M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Preferred: Hands-on knowledge of Biopharma Characterization technologies and analytical instrumentation.
- Experience: 45 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Marketing, or Business Development of analytical instruments within the biopharma market.
