Key Responsibilities

- Source e-waste from aggregators, retailers, repair shops, collection centres, OEMs, institutions, corporate offices, and bulk consumers.
- Develop new business opportunities in battery recycling, plastic recycling, ELV recycling, refurbishment, and other circular economy segments.
- Act as the single point of contact for all business development activities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular market visits, supplier meetings, negotiations, and relationship management activities.
- Generate procurement opportunities and ensure achievement of sourcing targets.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for material movement and supply chain optimization.
- Support Chennai plant operations through identification of buyers for recovered materials including aluminium, copper, plastics, PCBs, compressors, and other secondary raw materials.
- Assist in sale and marketing of EPR credits and compliance-related services.
- Maintain market intelligence on pricing, competition, sourcing channels,



and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare periodic business reports, forecasts, and territory development plans.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Strong industry network within e-waste, recycling, scrap, electronics, metal recycling, or allied sectors.
- Excellent negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.
- Street-smart, proactive, and willing to travel extensively.
- Solid understanding of supply chain, procurement, logistics, and commercial negotiations.
- Broad understanding of recycling, sustainability, circular economy, and resource recovery industries.
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Relevant experience will be preferred over academic specialization.

Experience

4-10 years of relevant business development, sourcing, procurement, or recycling industry experience
