Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.

2. Taxation & Compliance

Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Ensure timely filing of returns and maintenance of records.

3. Costing & Inventory Control

Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory.

Analyze production costs and profitability of products.

Develop cost-control measures to improve margins.

4. Audit & Internal Controls

Lead internal and statutory audits.

Establish and maintain internal control systems.

Ensure compliance with FSSAI, BRC, and other regulatory requirements related to the food industry.

5. MIS & Reporting

Prepare MIS reports for management review.

Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights.





Monitor working capital and receivables.

6. Banking & Finance

Manage banking relationships and credit facilities.

Handle export-import documentation and foreign remittances.

Coordinate with banks for LC, BG, and packing credit requirements.

7. Team Management

Supervise accounts and finance staff.

Train team members on accounting procedures and compliance requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified.

5-10 years of experience, preferably in FMCG/Food Processing/Spice Manufacturing industry.

Solid knowledge of GST, Income Tax, Costing, Export Documentation, and ERP systems (SAP/Tally).
