Job Description Responsibilities:

About the Role

- Immunity Networks & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Network Security Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise firewalls, including Check Point, FortiGate, and Palo Alto solutions.
- The candidate will monitor network and security infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents, implement security policies, and ensure high availability of critical network services.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor network performance and security events to ensure system availability.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Check Point, FortiGate, and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Handle support tickets and ensure SLA compliance.
- Investigate and resolve network connectivity and security issues.
- Support LAN/WAN operations, VPNs, VLANs, and enterprise routing environments.
- Assist in implementing firewall policies, NAT rules, and access controls.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions.
- Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure network uptime, operational efficiency, and security compliance.

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and routing protocols.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and enterprise networking.
- Experience with routers, switches, and security appliances.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and firewall management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in Network Security, Network Support, or IT Infrastructure.
- Experience in ticket handling and SLA-driven environments.

Preferred Certifications

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- CompTIA Network+
- Palo Alto PCCET, PCNSA, or PCNSE
- Fortinet FCA, FCP Network Security, or FCSS
- Check Point CCSA or CCSE
- Any equivalent networking or cybersecurity certification

Operational Availability

Ability and willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including rotating shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Desired profile of the candidate

2-4 years of experience in Network Security/Network Support. Hands-on experience with Check Point, FortiGate, or Palo Alto firewalls. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, routing & switching.

Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. CCNA or equivalent certification preferred. Willing to work in a 247 rotational shift environment.

Education qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
