Job Title: Product Owner (Logistics & Supply Chain)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and continuous improvement of logistics and supply chain technology solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams, ensuring product initiatives deliver measurable business value while aligning with organizational objectives. This role requires strong expertise in Agile product ownership, backlog management, roadmap planning, and requirements gathering, along with a solid understanding of Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, and Supply Chain operations. The successful candidate will drive product vision, prioritize business needs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. The position requires collaboration with US-based stakeholders and flexibility to work during IndiaUS overlapping hours, including late evenings when required.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Define and communicate product vision, objectives, and roadmap to stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and defects to maximize business value and customer outcomes.
- Act as the primary decision-maker for product requirements and backlog prioritization.
- Balance business expectations, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and technical considerations.

Agile Delivery & Product Development

- Create and maintain detailed user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
- Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning activities.
- Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters, developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.




- Ensure requirements are clearly understood and translated into actionable development tasks.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, ensuring delivered solutions meet business expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement of product processes, delivery practices, and customer experience.

Stakeholder Management

- Partner with logistics, supply chain, transportation, and operations stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities.
- Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
- Manage competing priorities across multiple business functions.
- Provide regular updates on roadmap progress, product performance, risks, and delivery timelines.
- Build strong working relationships across business, operational, and technology teams.

Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions

- Analyze and document logistics and supply chain processes and identify opportunities for digital transformation.
- Translate operational requirements into product capabilities, workflows, and system enhancements.
- Support initiatives related to:
- Order Management
- Transportation Management
- Warehouse Operations
- Shipment Tracking
- Distribution Operations
- Supply Chain Visibility
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve efficiency, service levels, and process automation.

Product Performance & Continuous Improvement

- Define key success metrics and monitor product performance.
- Gather user feedback and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Drive data-informed product decisions and continuous product evolution.




- Ensure solutions deliver measurable business outcomes and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience working as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager within Agile environments.
- Strong experience in:
- Product backlog management
- Product roadmap planning
- Requirements elicitation and documentation
- Agile delivery methodologies
- Stakeholder management
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and product delivery practices.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Domain Experience Requirements

Mandatory

Strong understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain business processes, including:

Experience working directly with logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations stakeholders to deliver business and technology solutions.

Ability to translate complex logistics processes into clear business requirements, workflows, user stories, and product capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within Distribution, Transportation, or broader Supply Chain environments.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms supporting logistics and supply chain operations.
- Exposure to digital transformation, automation, and process optimization initiatives.
- Experience working in scaled Agile environments.
