- Looking for QAQC Manager for one of their large Redevelopment (Govt / Semi Govt) Construction Project Management Consultancy (PMC) project in Mumbai.
- The Key responsibility areas included but not limited to;
- Responsible for activities including aspects of testing and quality control of construction materials.
- Quality indexing system on a scale of 0 to 10 will be implemented for maintaining positive quality of work.
- Responsible for detail quality audit and quality control procedures and testing (Asphalt, Concrete and Soil) and ensuring the quality of raw materials.
- Obtain samples and Witness / Conduct the testing and review test report for adherence to standards.
- Resolving problems especially with unusual soil and aggregate samples, and special concrete mix designs Attend site meetings when special construction material related matters are discussed.
- Manage RMC plant working for QA QC standards.
- Inform management in case of any discrepancy.
- Understanding test methods and procedures and perform testing in accordance with Standard Quality Control System
- Conducts quality meetings, participate in quality audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance,



identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
- To lead / mentor the team.
- Assign duties, review performance, and suggest corrective measures for enhance performance.
- Review and approve Quality Plan submitted by contractor.
- Make site visits, review work executed for quality, suggest corrective measures, as required.
- Provide various approvals as per project requirement.
- Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
- Developing and executing Quality plans in the workplace.
- Conduct training and presentations for QAQC.
- Oversee Testing of material to be used in the work are as per contract specifications, relevant IS standards, MORT&H;, IRC and other standards applicable.
- Review the test results/certificates of all construction materials and/or sources of materials and undertake additional tests as necessary to assess the quality of works.
- All tasks that are required to be done as per scope of work, responsibility matrix and Client requirement for the project.
