Job Description Draftsman (Piping)

Department: Design and Engineering
Location: Andheri west

Roles & Responsibilities

- Preparation of piping layout drawings and isometric drawings.
- Development of GA (General Arrangement) drawings for piping systems.
- Preparation of equipment layout drawings in coordination with process and mechanical teams.
- Drafting support details and structural drawings related to piping.
- Preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) for piping components.
- Coordination with engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.




- Updating and maintaining drawing records and revisions.

Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Piping Draftsmanship.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software.
- Knowledge of piping standards, symbols, and codes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Skills

- Strong drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of piping layouts, isometrics, and GA drawings.
- Familiarity with industrial piping systems and components.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
