About the Role:

Girikon is looking for an experienced AWS Developer / AWS Engineer to join our growing cloud engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, serverless architecture, API integrations, Python development, and cloud migration projects. Experience in migrating integrations from MuleSoft to AWS and working with Salesforce-AWS integrations will be a significant advantage.

Role & responsibilities :

- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable serverless applications using AWS services.
- Build and manage cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS best practices.
- Lead or contribute to migration projects from on-premise environments and MuleSoft to AWS.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs using AWS API Gateway and AWS Lambda.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and AWS services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable cloud solutions.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch and related services.
- Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or similar).
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical resolutions.




- Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and recommend improvements to the existing cloud infrastructure.

Preferred candidate profile :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud development and engineering.
- Robust experience with serverless architecture using: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB.
- Experience with AWS services including: S3, EC2, CloudWatch, IAM, CloudFormation, Athena, Glue, SQS, SNS, CloudFront, Route 53, SES, AppFlow.
- Strong programming experience in Python and scripting.
- Experience in cloud migration projects, particularly: On-premise to AWS and MuleSoft to AWS
- Experience integrating AWS services with Salesforce.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong understanding of AWS architecture, security, scalability, and cloud-native design principles.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- AWS Certification (Developer, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices will be an added advantage.
