Job Title: Senior Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer

Experience: 8 10 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer with strong expertise in Tenant-to-Tenant (T2T) migrations, Exchange Hybrid deployments, and end-to-end migration of all M365 workloads. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with migration tools such as Quest On Demand Migration / Migration Manager and BitTitan MigrationWiz, and a deep understanding of enterprise identity, messaging, and collaboration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute Microsoft 365 Tenant-to-Tenant migrations across multiple workloads
- Plan and implement Exchange Hybrid (On-Premises + Exchange Online) environments
- Migrate workloads including:
- Exchange Online (Mailboxes, Public Folders, Archives)
- OneDrive for Business
- SharePoint Online (Sites, Document Libraries)
- Microsoft Teams (Chats, Channels, Permissions)
- Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) Optional

- Perform assessment, discovery, and migration planning activities
- Design and implement identity solutions (Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, SSO)
- Execute migrations using:

- Quest (On Demand Migration / Migration Manager)
- BitTitan MigrationWiz

- Manage mail flow, coexistence, and cutover strategies
- Handle user/device identity mapping, permissions, and access controls
- Perform post-migration validation, troubleshooting, and hypercare support
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance during migration
- Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and reports




- Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and business teams

Required Skills Expertise:

- Robust experience in M365 Tenant-to-Tenant migrations
- Hands-on expertise in Exchange Hybrid configuration and troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge of:
- Exchange Online Exchange Server
- SharePoint Online OneDrive
- Microsoft Teams
- Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) Optional

- Experience with migration tools:

- Quest On Demand Migration / Migration Manager
- BitTitan MigrationWiz

- Good understanding of:

- Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure AD Connect
- Identity lifecycle and access management
- DNS, mail routing, SPF/DKIM/DMARC

- Strong troubleshooting and scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft certifications (e.g., M365, Azure, Messaging)
- Experience in large-scale enterprise migrations (1000+ users)
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards
- Experience in multi-tenant or multi-geo environments

Soft Skills

- Documentation and presentation skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Knowledge of Active Directory migrations (Quest, ADMT)
