Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Lead and manage all HR operations activities, including onboarding, employee documentation, insurance administration, statutory compliance, audits, and policy governance.
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires across business units, ensuring a seamless and positive experience during pre-joining, joining-day, and post-joining stages.
- Manage employee records and documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, confidentiality, and timely updates in both digital and physical formats.
- Drive adherence to established HR processes and maintain documentation for any approved exceptions or deviations.
Statutory Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Minimum Wages, Maternity Perks, POSH, and other employment-related regulations.
- Manage PF and ESI administration, including employee additions, nominations, declarations, transfers, withdrawals, and related filings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance-related audits and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure readiness for internal and external audits by maintaining accurate records, process documentation, and compliance evidence.
- Drive closure of audit observations and implementation of recommended corrective actions.
Insurance & Benefits Administration
- Manage end-to-end employee insurance programs,
including policy renewals, employee enrollments, updates, claims processing, and vendor coordination.
- Act as the primary liaison with insurance providers to ensure smooth administration and timely resolution of employee queries and claims.
- Monitor insurance budgets and recommend improvements to optimise coverage and employee benefits.
Policies, Processes & SOP Management
- Review, benchmark, and evaluate HR policies, benefits, and practices against industry standards and market trends.
- Recommend policy enhancements and process improvements based on business requirements, operational insights, and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all HR operational processes.
- Ensure effective communication and implementation of policy and process changes across the organisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in HR Operations, Compliance, Employee Services, or HR Shared Services.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, PF, ESI, POSH, Maternity Benefits, and other statutory requirements.
- Experience in managing employee insurance programs and HR audits.
- Excellent attention to detail, stakeholder management, documentation, and process improvement skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
