Payroll: Compunnel Job Description: Workday Integration & Extend Developer Job Title: Workday Integration & Extend Developer Location: Remote Mode: Contract Experience: 7+ Years Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration & Extend Developer to design, develop, implement, and support Workday integrations and custom applications using Workday Extend . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable integrations between Workday and third-party systems while developing custom business applications that enhance Workday functionality. This role requires close collaboration with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations with internal and external systems. Build custom applications using Workday Extend to address business requirements not met by standard Workday functionality. Develop integrations using: Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) Workday Studio Core Connectors Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs) Workday APIs Configure and support inbound and outbound integrations. Create calculated fields, custom reports, and dashboards to support integrations and Extend applications. Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, and performance issues. Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, Security, and third-party vendors throughout implementation and support activities. Participate in Workday releases by evaluating impacts, testing integrations, and implementing enhancements. Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and support procedures. Follow Workday best practices for security, scalability, and performance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,



or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of Workday integration development experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Extend . Robust experience with: Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors Workday Web Services REST/SOAP APIs XML, XSLT, JSON Experience with Workday business processes and security framework. Knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, or Recruiting modules. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications Workday Extend certification. Workday Pro certification(s). Experience integrating with: ADP Okta ServiceNow Azure AD SAP Oracle Salesforce Experience with Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or similar programming languages. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git). Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
