Role & responsibilities

1. Manage the complete Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle from invoicing to collection.
2. Ensure timely generation and dispatch of customer invoices.
3. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers for timely payments.
4. Perform regular customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
5. Coordinate with clients regarding payment issues, debit notes, credit notes, and adjustments.
6. Prepare and analyze AR ageing reports and recommend corrective actions.
7. Maintain accurate records of customer balances and collection status.
8. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve billing-related queries.
9. Ensure proper accounting of receipts and allocation against customer invoices.
10. Monitor overdue accounts and escalate high-risk cases to management.
11. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
12. Prepare MIS reports related to receivables, collections, and cash flow.
13. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
14. Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and customer account confirmations.
15.



Drive process improvements to enhance collection efficiency and reduce outstanding receivables.

Preferred candidate profile

- MBA (Finance) with 10+ years of relevant Accounts Receivable experience OR Semi Qualified CA / CMA with 5+ years of relevant AR experience or CA with 3-5 years of Experience.
- Strong experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Collection Management.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in customer reconciliations and dispute resolution.
- Excellent knowledge of AR ageing analysis and receivable management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
- Experience working on ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Experience in handling large customer portfolios will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of month-end closing activities and MIS reporting.
- Immediate joiners will be highly preferred.
- Candidates with consulting or service industry experience will have an added advantage.
- High level of accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail.
